HowtoParkour.net Scam?
« on: April 26, 2011, 04:45:25 PM »
So a little before Christmas I saw this advertisement on http://www.howtoparkour.net/ about a parkour training guide for newbes. I asked my grandfather if he could get it for me because it was Christmas, he ordered it. After it didn't come for 5 weeks we sent Andrew (the guy who was selling the books) an e-mail and he told us that he added more to the package and we were lucky because we didnt have to pay more for more content. so its been months now and we haven't heard or gotten anything from Andrew.
Did this happend to anyone else? Did he scam us?

I wouldn't think it was a scam, though you may be screwed. Many things could have happened that could have caused him to lose track of your order, especially given the amount of time it's been. If you make enough of a fuss and hopefully have some documentation, you might be able to fix this.

In my opinion, something labeled "How to Parkour" seems like a scam from some skateboarder somewhere in southern NJ...  :P
Fecteau, you are the first person I will turn to when I break up with Micah, haha

I don't think it's a scam like they just took your money, but you're probably getting ripped off.

Didn't Mark use that line in his tutorials? :)

Okay thanks I'll be sure to send him proof of sale and e-mails

Yes, once, about eight years ago.
