Lightheadedness
« on: December 14, 2010, 06:59:24 AM »
K ive noticed that if I freerun for about an hr or two i start to get loghtheaded. It usually happens when i start doing flips and rolls. Its possible im not getting enough air cuz i noticed i tend to hold my breath when i flip or roll. (How do i stop?) I also noticed it happens when i drink a can or two of soda and start freerunning (been trying to stop drinking soda =)) just a little worried cuz i feel like a wreak for bout 10 mins afterwards =3

Sounds like your diet is the issue. This happens to me in the mornings if I don't eat breakfast before I train. Eat better and quit drinking pop/soda. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to check out breathing techniques on youtube. Good luck.

Get rid of the soda and go with water.

It's probably low blood sugar from doing that or something thereabouts

I had the same issue my first training day. My trainer told me I had to eat about 3 hours before my workout and to get my electrolytes back up afterwards. so although Gatorade and Powerade are loaded with sugar its just what your body needs if you are feeling dizzy after a workout.
