Parkour applied randomly
« on: November 26, 2010, 08:53:48 PM »
I need food I have nothing but nutella and canned soup.... haha so as I approach my local supermarket in the brutal, disabling cold of pre-winter Illinois, begin to really feel those beers I drank. I round the corner and the entrance of the grocery store comes into view I see a group of about six or seven people (4 big black dude and a few women) blocking the entrance. The entrance and exit of the store is separated by a railing above waist-height, and they were packed into the entrance path discriminately.

As I approached the group half of them noticed me. I could feel them watching me. They knew I'd have to ask to get around them. Their women's eyes on me eagerly awaiting a confrontation, a chance for their men to feel big amongst a smaller man with no companions.... no suprise, that's life and the people in it.

I approached them, drew left and swiftly ghosted over the rail and continued walking past them and unbothered and without a second look in their direction. They wanted a confrontation... and I didn't look at them twice..

they were so dumbstruck they couldn't figure out what to say as I walked away. People around here always have something to say...... but they couldn't think of a damn thing. I heard two comments.. one was "damn" and the other was about how much of a "serious muhfugga" I am.

In a world where people try to challenge eachother in such pitifully minor circumstances, I can't help but laugh in their faces.

I wouldn't make this up people. I'm not trying to be cool, I'm just sharing a couple moments of my night that i thought were relevant. What's the world coming to?

maybe I should just move out of the ghetto.

I f#cking love parkour.

Sweet, I was kind of thinking about "what if" in conjunction with somebody doing parkour on black friday or some other busy shopping day.
Parkour + Free Running = Free Parking :D
