Mr. Andy, while in my solitude after i move, what would you recommend I train most veraciously over anything else?
This depends on your goals, but here's what I'd do...
Physically: Balance, agility, coordination, touch. They're all correlated. You don't need anyone to teach or coach you in order to improve in these things. I can give you sweet ideas if you need them.
Mentally: Control. I don't mean controlling precision in your movement, I mean controlling your thoughts, motivations, habits, discouragements. Controlling your training. In other words, learning to beat the games that your mind plays with you. You have to do this in order to reach your goals. This extends beyond parkour training, too. If you can press onward when your mind tries to tell you that your body is too tired to continue its reverse QM ascent up a parking garage, you can apply that same mindset to a school project that is as boring as
Hell, California, [with its lowly service station, beer tavern, and good supply of drinking water as the main features] or you can let it loose on a workday that seems to never end.
In essence, I want you to explore, play, learn, commit, conquer, continue, and above all,
kick ass. Your
own ass, that is...
