UHart
« on: October 19, 2010, 03:50:05 PM »
Hey guys,
I'm a freshman this year at the University of Hartford. My hometown is Lancaster, PA and I've been training with about 5 or 6 friends for the past 2.5-3 years. I've been doing nothing but solo-training this year because I haven't found ANYBODY at the University that trains.  Does anybody go to school here or live in the area and want to train?

Hey Jordan! Sorry I didnt see this earlier, I was looking through my spam emails and a notification for this popped up haha.  Anyway, I don't live too close to Hartford, sorry.  But I'll see if I know anybody.  Also I may come down there soon so I'll definately hit you up.

As for the Uni, why don't you start a PK program there, like a club or something?  I'm pretty sure other colleges have stuff like that.

I'm working on it, believe me. I'm pretty sure it'll be a while for me to get to that stage though, haha. Everyone that I talk to is like 'No way you do that?! That's so awesome!' but they have no interest in learning...it's a bit frustrating. But at the same time, I really really enjoy solo training as well. If you do come down, by all means, I'd be down to train or whatever, just PM me and we'll talk. Thanks for the reply! :)

me? I was speaking like... personally... for all I knew you could live 15 minutes away.  I'm geographically challenged, I drive in circles until I find where I'm supposed to be =P

That sounds pretty sweet, man. I'd love to meet up with all of you guys sometime and train together, it's been mostly solo training during the school year up here for me.

If travel wasn't a problem, then I would definitely come out a few times this spring, but I don't have my car on campus this year (it's $500 for a parking permit, ridiculous), but I will next year.

It'll probably be sometime during April, preferably when the warm weather hits. Don't worry, I'll let you guys know :)
