Not a long shot all. But it may have to wait until the 1.1 update... That would take a lot of cooperation from apk.

Greg-Screen caps are looking good - we do need to carry our conversation forward and I wouldn't wait till you're done to present some ideas to me :)
thanks!

Greg, I don't mean to be a Debby Downer, but I'm just voicing my opinion on this topic...
I honestly would not want to pay a dollar for the app, because I can already get on APK and the forum from my iPod Touch just by using the internet.

But this is just me, and I've noticed that there are already a handful of others who wouldn't mind spending a dollar, and I'm sure that this app would be sweet and very successful :)

I haven't decided as of yet whether or not to charge for the app but I can tell you it'd be worth it. I thought of another section also. Would you guys be interested in a log section where you can keep track of your workouts?

Like which movements we trained on a specific day?
like a calender-type thing?
that'd be nice, I'd deff appreciate that

I'm not completely sure how it would be set up as of yet but I was thinking something like "planner-style" where you will have a plus button (many iphone and ipod users will know this creates something new) that will essentially allow you to specify the date and will have an open text field where you can put in your training location, your techniques trained, your exercises and whatever else you wanted. Then when you look at your list they will be sorted by date.

Just a thought.

I personally wouldn't use the log but im sure others would absolutely love it. Good feature to put in though.

EDIT- I think the $0.99 for the app would be more like a donation for APK and to Greg for making the app. Which reminds me...How about a Donate section?

Hey everyone, due to a hectic xmas work schedule and the new semester at school the development was frozen for some time but I'll be picking it up again shortly! Thanks for the support everyone!

Hey Greg, I should have the iPhone 4 at the beginning-ish of the summer.  I can't work while I have school (too many activities) so I'll be working two jobs over the summer.  This app will be the first I purchase!!

It looks like a really useful app. I'd pay .99 for it. I particularly like the help section. I know I've been frustrated when I can't see how to do a move while out training and I'm training to figure out if I'm doing something right.

On the hot spot map can you have a section that indicates good places to train and another section for people that want to post where they train alot so they can meet up with other people?
I do parkour in my pajamas:)
Gravity is the one obstacle we should not and never over come
For without gravity there would be no Parkour.

I think he's asking for one section of the hotspots map to be well-known/popular places to train, and an alternative section that's more focused around groups/their meet-up points. I feel like the different between the two would be minimal, however, so you might just wanna keep it as one map with everything listed.

as an alternative we could have one map with two different icon styles that point to two different types of spots, would that solve the issue?

a bundle of trick tuts would be a reason to buy the app alone. although it would be nice if it was not a youtube link so i could use it on the go.

before development stopped I found a way to embed the videos into the app so that shouldn't be an issue =]
