Does parkour have to be urban?

Because I enjoy jumping tree to tree in and airsoft war, with an electric airsoft pistol, raining pellets on the enemy.

No not at all! Parkour is about adapting your movement to the environment, and may be practiced anywhere. I love training in the woods. I find training in nature a fun challenge because of the lack of uniformity.

Definitely not. Probably 90% of my training takes place in the forest.
"Hi! I'm Mark Toorock from American Parkour. Today, we're going to be showing you parkour."

I will crush my mental blocks into a fine powder, and then I will construct a fabulous Zen garden.

Nope.

I've seen countless videos of Traceur's training in the woods. If I had woods in my area, I'd probably start training there too.

Parkour is essentially a return to the movement and connection that humans have lost with their environment and nature.
