ive always been very thin. im stronger than i was when i started and i have more muscle but im still very thin. ive never had my body type change.

It's because of your diet and how you train. When I was younger, I was overweight and weak, I went from that to bodybuilder in about two years (don't remember exactly how long). I was a lot bigger than I am now, more muscular, bigger arms than now, but now I'm a lot stronger in every respect, and leaner (go figure)

Now, the fact that I'm stronger but leaner than I was back then is due in its entirety to diet and how I train. That's the point I'm trying to make.

Change your diet and do bodybuilding, your body will change. Or don't do bodybuilding, do strength training and try GOMAD. Not that you would want to be big as size/weight hinders movement, I'm just making a point.

Your body composition, muscle mass, and even you skeletal structure (chest cavity, bone density) will change to adapt to the stresses you submit your body to

the current body frame i have works out really well for what i do. i  do parkour. i am by no means weak, just thin. my arms are not the size of somebody's head but i don't need them to be, they do exactly what they need to. and no my frame has had little to do with my diet. i use to eat far worse and war more than most people and weighed less than i do know.

Now, maybe, but I've been of different body types throughout my life, and I've ranged through all of them.

The point I'm trying to make is, don't constrain your training in accordance to your body type. Train according to your objectives and your body will adapt.

I hear a lot of people saying: I'm good at kongs because I'm a mesomorph... no... you're good at kongs because you practice them... and you're a mesomorph because of how you train and diet

That will spur opposing thoughts as well: I'm not good at this because my body type isn't this that or the other. You will be good at anything you train hard for, period.

i sen the pictures and knew i was endomorph all the way i like it too. as the one poster said we can be like tanks and thats exactly what i did when i was younger. i was never able to be knocked down and could always just run right threw people (never very fast) but you dont need to be fast when you can keep going and not be stopped.

as the article says endomorphs might not be good sprinters wich i am not but i can do a decent marathon when called for. i am 6'0" and 213 pounds now not sure how my body will change yet because i still have about 20-30lbs of fat on me(completly guessing as i do not have calipers to measure my body fat percent)

but to get back on topic i belive this is a good thread just to let people know everyone can do anything they want even if they think they are not "tuned" for that sport it just takes some improv on their part and perserverance.

it's different for most people to see a bigger guy doing parkour, everyone i know has said "you can't do parkour your to big" and "your bone structure is to big for parkour" but i proved them wrong. ;)

for me being the endomorph that i am the only things that i am finding somewhat challanging are the kongs/monkey vaults just haveing issues bringing my legs up but that could very well just be me needing to tweak what i am doing.

Well for me, when doing a kong vault, I do a two footed dive, because two footed dives give my feet so much air. But we're all different.

im 6' and 145 pounds.

Haha. I feel you. 6'1" and 145lbs. BMI is only .2 away from being underweight. But its extremely hard for me to gain weight. I have been steadily gaining muscle weight though.

You were probably a lot shorter, but about the same weight you are now, weren't you? I know I grew around 10" in a year.

Overweight??? I'm 5'11'' and 205, and I'm not overweight. You're nowhere near overweight, in fact, I'd start taking peanut butter at 140 lbs
