Anyone in the Newark area?
« on: May 23, 2010, 04:21:22 PM »
Hey all,

Just throwing this out there to see if there is anyone in the Newark, DE area that would like to train on a regular basis. I have no prior experience in anything related to parkour / freerunning, so I wouldn't be able to "coach" anyone.

I'll be ready to start in about 2-4 weeks time. Coming off of a broken elbow and two severely sprained wrists, so I'm a little out of shape, atm. My main focus for the next 6-8 months would be general fitness, then I'd probably start making the trek down to Tribal in DC, if all goes well this time around.

Anyone in?

Absolutely! Sorry for the late reply. Know any good spots in DE?

Also, I have a couple people from work that are also interested. Probably have at least three more that'd be willing to meet up after 5p on the weekdays and sometimes on the weekends.

I'm totally down for coming out on Sunday. I'm going to try to get a couple people to come out, as well. We have absolutely NO prior parkour experience, so we may slow you down some or just spend a ton of time watching what you do lol

I'm gonna ask the co-workers now and see what everyone else says :)

ok, im gonna create a jam sesh on facebook. become a member of University of Delaware Parkour and Freerunning, and attend the event that i'm going create. let me know about your buddies, or anyone else you know who would like to come out.

See you on Sunday.

Just replied and invited my buddies via facebook. I have to drive in, and it's been a few years since I've had to park at UD. Is it still free parking everywhere on Sundays?
