Recomended Camera/editing software
« on: September 24, 2006, 11:32:32 AM »
I was hoping to purchase a camera to start recording myself as I train for Parkour. So I was wondering if anyone has any recomendations for which camera to buy. Also, what features am I looking for when I'm buying one?

Also, I would hope to get some video editing software with the camera so that I can make the video's look nice. Does anyone have any suggestions for what kind of editing software I should get? Also, if its not too much trouble can you tell me how much it costs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Well, you probably have Windows Movie Maker already.  It's not that special, but it gets the job done.

I'm getting a Canon Elura 100.  Try browsing Cnet.com.  Just type in camcorder and there are good reviews and stuff about hundreds of cameras.
