cool, didn't you get like a bunch of snow?.... i live in leander.... not really alot of good places to train (if you've ever been down here you'll know what i mean) but saturday i went down to san antonio and found the guys from san antonio parkour and trained with them for a while, it was cool..... kinda deepressed me after i left cuz they had alot of cool places to train there

Yes where I was we got a full 11 inches of snow. It was great. I live in a rural area of Tejas so I don't have much training area either. :( But It's fine, I can work on movement anywhere. ;)

I love how this has basically become a "Let's talk about the weather" thread  ;D

So... Seeing as there are no winners announced and I am impatient.  I figured why not have a vote on who's was the best. The only rule is that you can't vote for yourself.

PS.
Patience is only a good virtue if you have exhausted all other alternatives and there is nothing left to do. Otherwise it's just laziness.
Konging low stuff is stupid. Just jump over it. Or just do a cool flip over it.

Because people were wondering why no reply about the contest. I thought it was due to snowstorm, but I may have been wrong...

Did anyone else notice... There has been a rapture of high level traceurs: Ozzi, Skipper, Zac "HappyDude" Cohn, Travis Noble, Ryan Ford, .5gibbon, SkyNative, Corndogg and possibly others. We have been left behind to face the Great Tribulation. Sorry, dudes and dudettes...  :o

Congratulations to the winners of our Workout Journal Contest! Thanks to everyone we had some great entries from grueling workouts to creative uses of everyday objects. In the end, it came down to three that we felt really embodied what the contest was about - displaying a great workout and adding some creativity. In First Place, Chris Stevenson will pick up a Primal Fitness T-shirt and $100 coupon to the APK store for this great workout  ! Second place was based more on the creative side, where Lydia Cloak shows us how to use a backpack for a great workout anywhere. Finally, Gregg got all sweaty in his office doing a sort of grease the groove office workout that was really clever - not sure if you can do that every day, but very creative nonetheless. Thanks again to everyone who entered, and most of all we're pleased to say that we saw a huge spike in workout journal activity, and when it comes down to it, motivating others to train is a big part of what the APK community is about!

Congrats Chris & Lydia! What I think is funny, is that's exactly the order in which we submitted the entries, too ;D
