Movies with Free Running or Parkour
« on: January 10, 2010, 10:55:04 PM »
I'm interested to see free running and or parkour in movies. Anyone know which movies has free running in it? I saw Casino Royale like many people said, but there's only like 2 minutes of it. Any posts are appreciated!

:) B-13 as they guys said. Also in Babylon AD (the one with Vin Diesel) David Belle has a small part. The PK Scenes are quite short anyway.

:) Die Hard 4.0 features Cyril Raffaelli as one of the bad guys, not much PK but eye-candy skills from Cyril

Yamakasi movies too.

:( Casino Royale (Didn't like the PK Scene, you see Foucan running flawlessly away from a sloppy James Bond and in the end 007 catches him. IMHO it gives PK a bad name, it shows it kinda useless...anyway)

:) The Tournament features Foucan here's the trailer. Check it out

 >:( Another one that I didn't like the way PK is portrayed is Punisher War Zone...if you don't want to see the whole movie here's the scene...there's no much besides that...

 ;D And of course...The Simpsons

There's a chase scene involving parkour in the Bourne Ultimatum.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop (only watch it for the parkour: everything else sucks)

Since the publicity of Parkour has increased dramatically, it can be seen in a lot of movies and T.V. shows. I believe the office did something of a parody of Parkour, M.D. House had an episode of a Traceur, even the new Sherlock Holmes did 'Parkour'. I'm not against raising the publicity of Parkour. I am however, concerned of correct representation of it.
Anyway...

Here's a fairly useful wikipedia article on the subject:
