Winter training anyone?
« on: December 14, 2009, 08:33:23 PM »
Is anyone doing anything this winter? Any hardcore training or indoor training?

Ya i'm going to train outside a lot, the snow acts as a resistance which helps you become stronger.

Do you wear a balaclava or something? I might just train in the winter too.
I'm sick of the vibe at my gym. haa

Cool, I noticed not many people are training in the winter time.
At least the local parks are not occupied.  ;D

glad to see other people are actually active!

We usually do more conditioning in the winter, but luckily we have a few indoor places to train.. and parking garages. the snow and the ice just makes things a lot more dangerous. but i like training in it occasionally  :P

I live in Southfield and I will be training alone  :( lolbut nonetheless, I will be training a lot to take advantage of the school break  :D. Mostly working out and maybe ill go outside and work on some moves (I am relatively new at this) but um yea I don't like the snow but the break opportunity is too good to pass up
Why go through life bored?

If you want to train with someone, i'm in Royal Joke all by myself. haha
I wouldn't know of any good non snowed over areas to train in but exercises can still be done at parks/ schools, etc.
