My Daily Diet..Good Or Bad?
« on: December 02, 2009, 10:08:17 PM »
Age=13
Height=5'5"
Weight=122(Mainly Fat :'(   )

Breakfast=I wake up at seven everyday and begin school.As i begin my school i have a bowl of cheerios with a banana and a glass of either whole milk,green tea,water or OJ.

After Workout Protein=After School is done i do my morning workout and then have a two egg white omelet with low fat cheese inside and a apple.

Lunch=Lunch normally consists of a cold-cut turkey or chicken sandwich on whole grain bread.

Mid-Day Snack=Fruit granola bar or assorted nuts and either an apple banana or orange.

Dinner=Mostly some sort of chicken dish with steamed veggies, bread(whole grain carb)and either white or brown rice steamed

After dinner i do my night workout(Same as morning but with less stretching) then have another two egg white omelet and a banana.

(I Drink Water Through out the day and have green tea,whole milk or water with my meals)

Explanation=My morning meal is to supply me with some sugars(fruit) and protein ( whole milk) until i have my first main meal of the day(Lunch)
My omelet and fruit combination is there because protein after workout helps build lean muscle.The sugars from the apple/Banana slightly spike my blood sugar allowing protein to enter my bloodstream faster.
Dinner is simply more protein and nutrients(along with carbs)

I noticed i need to start taking nutrient supplements and vitamin supplements along with fish oil.

Besides That i Would like some input and constructive criticism on my diet.If you request ill post my workout if wanted for any reason.

Thanks
  -Bobby

Post the W/O

Actually doesn't look too bad though.
Life is what you make of it.

If you want input on your workout, lay out some goals for yourself and post this in the General Fitness board. I'm no expert, but it looks like you're doing a lot of (possibly) unnecessary endurance work, and might be on your way to an overuse injury.
Your obstacle is my shortcut.

For parkour you should start doing dips and pull-ups
3 sets of 5 reps (3x5)
Once you complete this comfortably, add weight to these exercises. Start small, you can use a backpack and books if necessary.

For fat burning, turn your 1.5 mile run into sprints.
For example: sprint 100m or 400m for time, then work on improving your time.

If you want good criticism then you need to lay out some GOALS. You can't say "Is my diet/workout good?" It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. What's good for one person could be crap for another.
Focus, Intensity, Tempo,
