Watz up everyone... my name is Jeff and I live in Warren, MI. I haven't been out free running at all to tell you the truth, but have some experience in gymnastics and in great shape to do some hardcore PK. Looking for a group to run with along with a couple of my interested friends. Any "good" groups don't be afraid to give me an invite anywhere.... trust me I won't slow you down. Looking forward to seeing you guys on the streets.

Edit: My friends call me "Fre" like the word free.

city: grand rapids

how long have you done parkour: about a mounth or so...

Well I havent done it that much but its really fun ^_^ not many places that are inviting down town though well on GRCC(grand rapisd community college) is like a heaven compaired to most of the city. I havent had any problems with the law due to the fact I don't think they patrol the allyways and parking structures. other then that I'm willing to jam ^_^
I see no reason to try and impress you, But I will impress myself.

Hello everyone! This forum looks a little underused lately, but none the less I hope someone reads this. Anyways I'm from windsor, across the river from detroit, and I've recently had an interest in learning how to do the freerunning or parkour. It looks like a lot of fun and i'm up for a new learning experience and the excercise. If anyone has infor they want to send my way I'd be very appriciative.

Peace

Hey,
I'm KW from Ann Arbor, been PK-ing for a couple of months, but I'm still a beginner. No clan, but when I do go running somewhere, It's with my Mountain bike group. Too cold to do anything right now, but maybe a run in the summer?

Hey. I'm Travis and I'm your man for Ann Arbor. The UofM parkour club holds training sessions every thursday and sunday. In these cold months we condition at the CCRB gym, when there isn't snow we meet at the BSRB. That said, I train every day and anytime you want to train get ahold of me. Check your PM's and welcome to APK.

Sup guys,
Name is Brad, but you can call me Risp (short for Rispearski, a nickname from the old days).  I'm a 24 year old Paramedic from Rochester Hills, Michigan (a suburb of Detroit).  I've been a Traceur for years without knowing what it was, and only recently (past couple of years) have I been training the way I should be.  I'm very heavily into nutrition, conditioning, and my recent engagement.  I spent four years in the Navy working as a weapon system tech for the burliest jet of them all, the F-14, and had a short career as a search and rescue swimmer.
I only have one problem: For all the great PK that can be found in Detroit, there are surprisingly few Traceurs that I know of.  In fact, I've never seen anyone interested enough to stop talking about it and DO IT.  I'm very eager to be the representative of APK in Detroit (DPK anyone?), and I welcome any of you to contact me with ideas, words of wisdom, or general advice.  Especially if you live in the metro Detroit area (go Wings!).  Thanks for the chance to be part of a truly progressive, and genuinely new sport and way of life.  See my thread on nutrition in the Diet forum.

                                           -Rispearski              Rispearski@yahoo.com

Welcome guys.
As far as I know there havent been too many MI jams this year yet, actually its still snowing here in Traverse. But theres a very active scene in Ann Arbor and I know there is a group of guys in and around Detroit but I havent heard from them in a while.
Anyways Im glad you're so excited about discovering this art. Hope to see you at a jam soon. Peace.
