More info on the Spot classes?
« on: August 13, 2006, 07:19:52 PM »
Hey!
Haven't gotten any info on the Spot website and I was curious about the upcoming classes...
Stuff like:

Do you need a Spot membership to take the classes?

How much are the classes going to cost?

Is there going to be a Parkour specific curriculum or is it more Parkour fitness? (I really need to learn how to wall run <grin>)

Will the classes be geared to a specific level of fitness? Or can any newbie join?

Really psyched on the classes! Looking forward to it!

Cheers

The classes will be structured around both parkour and parkour fitness. There will be good information, drills, skills, etc. for all levels of skill. They will be taught by myself and kannagisai and we are currently working on the curriculum/lesson plans. No membership is needed. It will most likely be a 5 dollar drop in fee. All of this stuff is still being worked out. When everything is set in stone, it will be posted up. We are very excited for these and they are going to be great!

I don't know about from Denver to Boulder but from Boulder to Denver it is sometimes faster because you go in the high occupancy vehicle lane.

sorry for any confusion regarding the classes. we have had some delays in getting the final agreement from the management of The Spot. i finally received it today and once it is signed and returned back to them, the classes will be "official". this will be completed by tomorrow and I will have all the details posted ASAP.
