I'm still wondering what rusty would do in a competition where it seems like everyone flips around. I'm guessing he's going to wow everybody with his speed and fluidity rather than technical capability. Also, I can't remember, but was david belle mentioned anywhere? it would be cool if he was the super old guy but still a badass.

This story is also one of the main reasons that I look forward to the freerunner.

Just read the first chapter, and the writing is really good! I can't wait to read more... But I've gotta work on my C++ or I'm gonna bomb the final. If you'd like, I can make up a PDF file that has all of the chapters you've done so far, so that you can post it all in one place. That way you can just link to it here, and people can download all of the currently available chapters in one file. I won't do it unless you want me to, though, obviously. I can update it whenever a new chapter comes out, as well.

KHSebastian - If you want to put everything into a PDF that'd be great. I plan to go back eventually and do some rewriting and polishing but in the meantime that'd be a huge help.

To everybody else, thank you so much for enjoying the story! Hearing that you like each new chapter is a lot of what keeps me going. Make sure to stay tuned each month because I've got quite a few chapters left before the story's complete. (Definitely tune in next month... ;) )

PS - The Freerunner Magazine is on the front page today, and I'm mentioned by name! I'm the next Stephen King baby!  ;D

Alright, I made the PDF file. It seems that I can't post a file bigger than 256kb, though. I could email it it to you, or put it on Mediafire if you'd like?

Ask and ye shall receive...

Should be able to download it from there, just follow the instructions and such. Let me know if it doesn't work.

EDIT: Much thanks to KHSebastian for doing this. Thanks man!

I love Rise so much, thanks for writing them. It would be awesome if they could be posted a certain day each month (that way I'm not look for them 3 times a day everyday lol)
Ps. have you ever thought of submitting it to hollywood to turn it into a film? LOL. oh and one more thing please don't end it with rusty dying or something crappy like that lol. peace out. :)

A question to the writer. I'm kinda curious if you got your inspiration for the old video that Lee sends Rusty, from Daniel's "Choose Not To Fall" video.

P.S. Rise = LOVE IT!!!!! :3

Thanks everyone for the great comments!

@Epic - Actually, the old video was inspired by all the old David Belle videos I've watched over the year. It's funny to watch one now and say "Hey look! There's Foucan! And Stephane! And Williams Belle! Wow, they really did train together!"

Question: If I were to find a way to publish RISE as a book, a physical book, would you buy it? Keep in mind, a published version of it would be expanded and uber-polished.
