I have to write a persuasive speech... and i can't think of anything, I'm literally at a point of asking a complete stranger pretty much... any ideas for a speech?

I am new to parkour, and have no experience, though I have been making an attempt, but I am having a hard time finding the best start. I am not in the best shape, and I was wondering in your experience, do you think it better for me to start a program that gets me into better shape before I begin some really serious parkour training, or should I use parkour training as a means to get into shape? ??? Any advice to a proper take off would help me tremendously.

Leon, brah. How long do your training sessions last and what is your cardio routine like? Did you have any experience in Martial Arts or Gymnastics before PK?

I'm going to answer a few of these that aren't specifically related to Leon just to save him time. Leon, you're still welcome to answer them if I do not do so up to your standards. ;)

My advice for this is do both. There's no reason that you can't start out with the basics of parkour before "getting in shape." Be sure to create an exercise routine that helps you reach your goals, but you can also have fun with parkour at the same time. Just remember, progression is key. Don't do anything in parkour or fitness that your body is not conditioned and prepared to do. :)

thanks

I'm not sure that Leon knows much of the Minneapolis area, so I'll point you to the MN boards in this forum. You could post there. :)

Just one question:

Boxer's or briefs?

;)

Neither. ;)

Have you ever cried? EVER?
Did you ever think you were a hat person?
What would you do if the world became flat?

And that's all my posts.

Keep up the good questions!

Have you ever considered going by Noel? (For those who are a bit slow this evening, it's just his name backwards.)

Pepsi or Coke? (Neither is not an option)
