I usually use my feet to measure distances..never tried measuring my jumps before.  sounds like a plan... so measurements are in metric?

I have listed as metric, inches, and feet inches. Use whichever you'd like.

I do the MN tests during the last week of every month. Sorry guys. Didn't mean to confuse you. I just knew my testing was coming up next week and the running long jump was one of the things I was focusing on for October. So if the jumps are your October goals, you'll need to post them next week. If they're your November goals, be warned, and get your tape measures ready.

do we have to stick the landing?  like when I precision long i never really go my full length cause I'm off balance when I throw everything into it...so should I only count the attempts that I can land smoothly?

The standing is fairly easy to stick. For the running, you'll have too much forward momentum. Just try to fall forward - the jump is measured from the closest touch to the take off line, so if you fall back, you could lose 2 or 3 feet off your jump distance.

So how's that jump training going? All weighted down with turkey, now? End of month is coming up quick!
For December, if nobody has any better ideas... 100 m sprint. See RUNNING in Going Natural for ideas...
