Wisconsin Public TV: 2008 Midwest Jam story to finally air!
« on: September 24, 2009, 06:50:10 PM »
I just got the email this morning. Wisconsin Public TV did a story on our hosting of the Midwest Jam last summer (2008), and they are going to finally air the story.

Thursday, 10/1 at 7:00 pm on "In Wisconsin" on Wisconsin Public TV.

:D

Can somebody please record it for me? Or YouTube it... or something?

Thanks, Jeremy! Is there any way you can email it to me? Or regular mail; whatever works. Let me know.

Here is a little teaser from their website:

...and here are their Transmitters/channels. Looks like you're not in their coverage area, Jeremy???

If you can't email it, you can burn it to CD maybe and snail-mail it or something; we'll figure it out.

Awesome! Thank you soooo much for the link and for setting your timer, James!  :-*

Man it was fun to re-live the Madison jam and also I thought they did a great job representing parkour, overall. I also got a big chuckle out of the fact that they talked about something along the lines of "primal/natural human instincts" while showing footage of Travis Noble in the Travis Noble Tree. :)

The story was very cool I only wish i would have gotten into parkour soon enough to be a part of it but can't wait to jam next summer.
Running is the only transportation that gives you complete freedom and parkour allows the freedom to continue through our urbanized world.
