INPK puts name in for MidWest Jam '10
« on: July 23, 2009, 02:41:50 PM »
INPK would like to put our name in for the midwest jam in 2010.  I'm not sure how this process goes. Everyone here is super excited and anxious about marking our mark and showing what we have to offer.

I think it would be great to go to IN for the Midwest Jam. I think also that it's kinda neat how it's turning out that our communities in the Midwest all sort of "rotate" who will host the Midwest Jam each year. It's kind of going that way organically but I think it works. :)
She followed slowly, taking a long time,
as though there were some obstacle in the way;
and yet: as though, once it was overcome,
she would be beyond all walking, and would fly.

Yea rotating is a good idea. Makes it 'fair' more or less.

Put your bid into the selection committee, make a few well placed bribes and who knows!  :P

In all seriousness though, I'd like to see it in Indiana. I wasn't able to come to the big Indiana jam a few months back so I'd enjoy attending a national jam there.

Parkour is your own path, why let someone else tell you not to walk it?

Ya I'm excited for the jam even though it is a year away.  I look forward to see the wide array of traceurs from across the US since we are so centralized.

It would seem Indiana would be a logical place to have it next year seeing as we've had Chicago(twice), Madison and Minneapolis.  I say go for it!  I'll do my best to be there, though, I don't know what my plans are for the coming summer...
