Does anyone here use a laptop? I'm just curious... I finally got mine to connect somehow and I'm using it and I though I'd ask!

I'm at the library right now with my 12" Apple G4 iBook.  Easy to use, easy to carry around, and it never breaks down!
I don't have internet, but there are tons of places in town to bum signal from for free.
Throw in sand from no man's land and I'll show you more of my cards.

I am on a laptop

m760
nVidia 6800 GO Edition
1 Gig of Corsair RAM

17" wide screen

I get around 1 and half hours of battery life while watching movies.

I mainly got it for LAN PArty puroposes and it is very handy. I can take it everywhere with me.

Hah, awesome. This is a Sony VAIO as well!!

But my battery doesn't want to charge anymore. Does anyone know a possible cause to this horrible disaster?

Yes, if you left it plugged in for long periods of time with the battery stil lin, on some laptops, it will cause your battery to die.

Some, but not all, charge the battery, then run it down while using it, then charge, then run.

If that makes sense, power never goes from wall to CPU/GPU/(The computer) without going through the battery first. So if your not planning on using it outside of your "area" I reccomend that you take out your battery.

I personally have two batteries, one is in my laptop 24/7 and the other is just for long trips.

I will be more than happy to answer any PC questions ya'll have. I am a bit of a PC buff you could say.

Well crap. What do you think I should do, then? Take the battery out and let it rest for awhile then try charging it?

Well, hate to tell you, but batteries are rated to so many charges. Anywhere from 300-2000. So you might try it, but don't get your hopes up. A new battery might be the only solution.
