Kapalono Field (Kilauea & 12th)
« on: July 09, 2009, 01:21:51 PM »
I didn't see anything about this place on the thread, but lemme know if someone already posted this place under a different name.

This place is fun. While I was there nobody asked me to leave, nobody complained, etc. There are some water fountains, and plenty of shade. I think there was a good breeze too, but my memory is fuzzy on that. Some picnic tables. Even a banyan tree (no completed arial roots though :( ). The walls vary in height and are all around the park so you should be able to find just about any height you want if you look around, and the really tall ones are just right for trying to run/climb over. The only draw back that I can think of is that if might get busy on the weekends since its a field, and is probably used for sports.

Sorry about the poor quality, these are from my phone.

I have more pics, but I don't wanna take up too much bw.
