Not another newbie!!!
« on: July 06, 2009, 03:17:58 PM »
Hi. My name's Sandi, I'm 16 and I'm completely new to parkour/freerunning. I'm fairly weak, and figured having a goal to work up to would be good motivation to get in shape so I can try to learn some of the basics. I was wondering if someone could give me some tips on how to get started with upper body strength training? I can't really even do multiple pushups yet. :/
Any reccomendations would be appreciated.

try flips.. they really help your abs ... but for upperbody get into the cat leap position and pull yourself up and straighten your arms out then get back down... and do it again.. or just practice parkour and u will build strength as you go.
