I just lost 10 pounds... in 4 days.

So I've been trying to increase my weight for some time but today when I went to the gym to do a leg workout, I weighed myself and I had gone from 130 from the last time I weighed myself to 120. I have been swimming alot lately and I didn't know it was possible to lose this much weight in a period of 4 days, but what should (or can?) I do about this other than eating more because i'm eating around 3000 calories a day.
I eat a lot of food.

10 pounds in 4 days is abnormal.   Have you been hydrating?  Have you been depriving yourself of salt?

If you want to put on weight eat more -- and eat more protein, especially.

I hardly ever eat salt, should I?

even though you don't eat salt it may or may not be in the foods you eat.

If you are athletic then you should be getting salt in your diet....

That said, a day of little hydration and lack of salt can make you purge water weight...among other things like diuretics (like coffee) and stress can cause you to lose water.

Your weight on the day to day fluctuates...10# is huge though.  Weigh yourself in again tomorrow and let us know the results at that time.

Ok now i'm at 122, but that drop was wierd

if you want to gain weight, eat more.  but not junk, like processed sugars, white grains etc.

I have quite a few sources and I am a moderator for the How to Get in Shape section of the bboy.org forums, so you should be able to trust me.  ;D

It isn't healthy to lose more than around 2-3 pounds per week unless you have just started working out, which I doubt that you are new.  :)
