(B)East Coast Jam - Names to Faces
« on: May 31, 2006, 09:12:26 AM »
For me, one of the useful parts of the internet is sharing info with people I won't meet face to face. Of course meeting someone and hanging out is much better than typing back and forth (especially since my typing sucks!).

(B)East Coast was a great chance to meet people, I know that Cyanide soda and his dad Jude came from Kentucky, with a kid from Tenessee ...
a whole bunch of guys came up from South Carolina ...
there were people from Michigan, Chicago, and some weirdo from Ohio.
Ek2 was there from Rhode Island and I think I heard from Massachusetts as well.

Of course I won't remember everyone's names so what I think would be great is if Pardo could post some of his group shots, and people could say "That's me, third from the left in the red shirt" ... that way next time we meet up we'll have a better shot at recognizing and remembering people.

I'll start .. I'm the old guy with no hair and yellow sneakers sometimes refered to as "the melonator".

Add yourself so we can get an accurate jam count (I think it was around 55) and so we can remember who everyone is.

Also, if you're in the Photo Gallery, shoot me an email like "Hey M2 it's Leapfrog from Montanna and I'm in picture DSC_08843.jpg on page 3" so I can put your name on it :)

Thanks!

What's up, Eric?  Glad I got the chance to meet you!  I didn't realize what your forum name was, either.

For reference, I'm the guy in the red shirt in IMG_9059 from Day 2.  Camo pants, Merrel sneakers, blue/blond-tipped hair.  I need to look and see if I show up in any action shots. :)

Every time I go to D.C., I have a great time.

Thanks go out to:

Skipper for the planning, feeding and entertaining.

M2 for the housing, transportation and food.

Manilla's sister for the ride.

The Juggernaut for his tight costume.

Everyone else too, but this isn't the place for thanks.

I'm the guy with the longish hair and the cadillac belt buckle... There's a picture of me vaulting ahk's car in the photo gallery.

Hope to see you all in NYC in a few weeks.

well, it should come as no surprise to you that my name is nick, I'm the long-hair wearing a grey shirt with black pants, I am sitting directly left of the back right colum of the gazebo thingy in IMG_9172 day 2 picture 85 (gene's precision jump), the same long-hair-no-good-hippy that was at b13 yesterday.

Hey, skipper, could you punch me in the appendix or something instead?  I'm kind of using my liver right now. :D

Oh yeah, in case I didn't say it (I thought I did), thanks to you and your family for making the Saturday BBQ happen!

PS: The only picture taken of me all day was one of me admiring myself in the reflection of a window.

But come on, you can't blame me ;-)
