Excuses
« on: May 27, 2006, 09:26:15 AM »
Fallin' victim to excuses, we all have done.  Alright, here is the deal.  I am getting tired of people making excuses when they put out a video and or dicussion about anything.  I have fallen victim to trying to explain why I "didnt roll the best in that clip because my shoulder hurt or something" or "not doing the right technique because I was tired of doing it over and over and that was the last shot of the day" ETC.

I say we ban together and find no excuses anymore.  We all need to train more we all need to do more we all need to be proud of what we put out on this forum.  So I say please change guys...I will and am going to.

Next time you post something on the boards be proud of what you have posted...if you dont think that what you have posted was your best and it needs an explination of..."I didnt think I was on video then" or whatever it was, just think before you post it.  Well that is my rant of the day.  I hope I got to someone with this.

A good idea, but most of the time people only make excuses when someone asks them why they did something.

Most people like to defend themselves when people "accuse" them of something.

Well on record I said that I will be trying to do this myself.  Yes, I did accuse...and I guess that would put people in a position to defend themselves...I will think better on how to word things on here as well.

if you have regular access to a camera, take it one step further. go out and improve upon whatever you did wrong, film it, and post it in reply to somebody's "accusation". what better way to shut someone up than visual proof? ;)

I'm saying, you might have taken that as me attacking you, and I meant quote as not because it's from you, just using an example..
