This was for the Global Jam, we all got there a little early and spent some time scooping up nasties before we played. We recycled all of the cans, glass bottles, and paper we could.

Awesome, everyone! :D

Community: Milton High School Parkour Club
City: Milton, WI
Date: Friday, October 9, 2009
Location: Downtown Milton
Attendees: about 12-15
Bags of Trash: about 3 kitchen-sized ones

We followed the Homecoming Parade and picked up all the litter, streamers, discarded candy, wrappers, parade float decorations, and other celebratory detritus from the parade. We also carried signs that said "Parkour: Leave No Trace" and stuff. My principal, the town police, and my club kids LOVED it! Best part: a little kid watching the parade came up to one of my club kids and asked, wide-eyed, "What did you do to get in trouble?" Hah!  ;D
She followed slowly, taking a long time,
as though there were some obstacle in the way;
and yet: as though, once it was overcome,
she would be beyond all walking, and would fly.

"Every Day is a Leave No Trace Day"
I was thinking the same thing. Pretty much everytime i go out to train i try to keep the areas where i train clean whether it was caused by me or not.

We need to keep this going. It's important to show the world we aren't junkies ruining our world. We all care, and need to show it. :)

You would have to talk to the Parkour Horizons guys.  I will try and talk to Joe.  But you should send them an email asking about it.

When does the "Pick up trash and I'll shave my head" challenge start?
Hawaii time is GMT-10, so 6 pm EST is like noon.

We, Unit 2, are a small local team from Norhtern San Deigo. We've started the first jam of every month as a Leave No Trace Jam. So far it's working out great.
