Wallspins
« on: April 04, 2006, 07:11:58 PM »
OK so the other gym session i was doing wall spins.  And then I try them out side of the gym and the safety of the foam pit.  Any tips on how many of you have master fear.

Unique is right, find a wall with good grip next to some grass. Just give it a couple tries, and if you make it that's great. If you don't you'l find the fear starting to go away after you realize there is so little pain.

Make sure you jump off both feet at the same time. That helped me get more than enough rotation, it just feels better anyway. Do like a jump stop but insttead of stopping use your momentum to jump and get height if that makes any sense at all.

Also make sure you use your momentum to stay on the wall; don't push away at all or you'll fall off.

i learned on a slanted pole. like on a swing set like this type of thing / and just work your way to a flat wall.
The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. stone crumbles. wood rots. people, well, they die. but things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on.
