Omaha Runners!
« on: September 17, 2008, 09:24:16 AM »
Omega Gymnastics on 84th and Giles holds an open gym night ever Friday night. They have a spring floor, plenty of foam pits, bars, trampolines, big blocks, etc. The "Straight jumpin'" Free running team is there almost every friday. On the first visit, its 16 dollars, 6 for admission, and 10 for insurance. every time after that, it is only 6 dollars. The gym is totally worth it, and i guarantee a good workout. We want to transform this place into a parkour gym  ;D

It starts at 7:30 and goes until 9 O'clock. It's really a fun time. I've never done gymnastics in my life, but my friend and i had peoples jaws at the floor from our vaults. Where do you live Rockwell?

Ha yea were usually there. Were only 2 guys as of now, going on three, but we bring about 4 people that we're trying to train.Jake and I are free runners, not parkour, but since we'll be at the gym, it won't matter all that much. How are you at kong vaults?

Well I will probably show up, in hopes that it may be better then the current open gym I attend on Fridays.
Well in the gym I am more inclined to free running and tricking, but I mostly train for parkour.

I have a pretty solid kong. Hosw long have you two been training?

Winter training ftw! Bundle up, and get out there. Honestly, I enjoy training in the cold. You'll get bothered by less people, and you know that the people you are training with are actually serious about their training.

Besides, it makes me feel (emphasis on the word "feel" since I'm not actually harcore) hardcore when I'm training in weather that's cold enough to make my hands crack and bleed.  :P

NICK! how ya been man?
I see your still checkin in on me  ::)

ya my favorite part about winter training is that no one going to bother you because it's hella cold out.
I would just like to get something going that would be a little more light hearted before it was -10 degrees out xD
