Things to build for training
« on: June 30, 2008, 05:04:13 PM »
Hey guys, I was just wondering what everyone else has built to train on. I have a set of parallettes and precision trainers so far, just trying to get some ideas for what else I can build to train on. My area is highly touristy so the police are very touchy and arresty.

built some precision trainers. installed a pull up bar, dip bar, and rings on an old swingset.  also had an old metal baseball pitching net.  i cut out the rotting net and use it to practice vaults.
I don't want to be a product of my environment.  I want my environment to be a product of me.

Things like Vault Boxes, walls to scale or tac from. Take anything really that you'd find out in the real world to train on and try to recreate it.

here are some more in depth articles regarding building training tools on this page

best of luck
