You are correct in that parkour is not a verb! It's a noun, exactly the same as say karate or tae-kwan-do. You don't hear people say "I'm going karateing!"

oh uh... not again.. lol

You should say, I am going to train, I am going do some parkour. I am going to practice. But rarely the word parkour comes out unless you say, you wanna do some parkour today. I am going to train some parkour.

My peeps and I usually say, wanna do some PK today.

Isn't that just verbing the word then acronyming it?  :-Sarcasm(See? TWO made up words :P)

You think so? Really?

Well that I know of, most people would say, I am going to go training/practicing. Or I am going to do some PK.

The one wrong way to see it is any where you add 'ing at the end.

But honestly, like I said in my previous post. Oh oh, not again.
People tend to care too much about this little things that it seems they dont see the important aspects of it. Training, the actual doing it.

I was just trying to answer this fellows question, because some people do legitimately dont know how it is suppose to be said.
But going further with this topic would be.. hmmm... pointless.

There is another post on this anyway.

Heh. This question will arise for as long as there are traceurs, I think.

Here is a very thorough discussion and explanation:

Haha yes, basically the only acceptable alternative part of speech for parkour is... well, there is none. It is and always will be simply parkour.

I think it's kind of weird when people at school as me, "How is the parkour going?" I think it's kind of an awkward question...
