536040 10151154638755686 556766391 n  It's now the first day of 2013 and we hope you had a great holiday season now it's time to get back to training if you ever stopped. Now is a perfect time to start the 365 challenge.

Here are the rules:

1.) Must do at least 5 minutes of Parkour training (conditioning, related activities like slack line, or PKFR)

2.) Must make a video each month showing your progressions, this is super important. It keeps you accountable and it really boosts your motivation and creativity, plus it helps push you to learn new movements.
...
3.) (Optional) Post every week on the americanparkour.com forums about your training, questions, ideas, goals, and accomplishments. The forums have a great community of veteran and novice traceurs all willing to lend a helping hand.

If anyone wants more info get a hold of Jimmy Davidson of the Tribe! He started this whole ordeal.

So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start training! Post in the comments here or on our facebook page if you want to join in!

"Now that I've long finished my 365, I have so many great memories I can look back on. A whole year of my life was documented! Before my 365, I had never traveled before, never really even got out of Temecula. Through the course of my project, I saw San Fran, San Diego, LA, and Chicago. I attended my first jams, and met some inspirational people. I feel like I have grown so much more that year then I ever would have without parkour. knowing that other have completed 365s of their own, I can't even describe the feeling seeing that my videos inspired others to better them selves for an entire year, hopefully some of their friends will be inspired by them and the legacy continues!"

"365 was one of the best things I've ever done for my self, but one unexpected thing I came away with was this idea that really anything is possible. I wanted to accomplish something, i said i was going to, and i did. Having done so 365 changed the way i approach obstacles in my life, nothing seems to hard or complicated to complete. From school work to handling finances or taking care of my loved ones, everything seems like the problem is so simple, just a little detection and time can fix anything!"
